THE GREATER KANSAS CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

DCG participates in the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Chamber Champ Program.  This program operates as an outreach and connectivity program for small business owners in the Greater Kansas City Metro.  As a champ, we are tasked as connectors, collaborators and friends of the many entrepreneurs and small business owners in Kansas City.  Since we know here at DCG that collaboration is the highest form of creativity in business and in life, we have been enriched through our participation in the Chamber and the Chamber Champ Program.  The Chamber works closely with other Kansas City organizations like Visit KC and the KCADC to provide it's members with access to the best Kansas City has to offer in work and play.  The Kansas City Chamber of Commerce set up its new headquarter in the beautiful historic building of Union Station.  Every year entrepreneurs, tech start ups, and students flock to this venue to tap into the many exciting opportunities and exhibits there.  The perfect new home for the Chamber is the perfect setting for small business owners to hone their skills, connect with their peers, and have an all around great time. 

It is a great time to be an entrepreneur in Kansas City.  One could drown in the pool of resources available for connecting, professional development, incubators, tech, etc... but as long as you can swim, you should be ok.

The Chamber also offers participation in committees geared toward the political, economic, and developmental climates in Kansas City.  The Chambers GenKC program aims to attract and retain young professionals in the Kansas City region by providing them with opportunities to enhance their personal and professional skill set through a variety of networking, community involvement and professional development opportunities.
